Lewis Pies in Fforestfach, Swansea is looking for a Packing Operative to join their team.
The role will involve working with the following – operating the Ovens and fryers, cooling, bake off, box making, hand packing, wrapping, pallet building, transferring, hand labelling/watchstrap, GMP duties (cleaning), order picking for the vans and packaging control which will involve counting and ordering. You will also be responsible for the box machine operation, tempering and re-coding. Accurate completion of live documents is required. You must have a flexible approach to hours of work and be able to work on your own as well as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
- Promotion of a CAYG attitude
- Being audit ready at all times
- Being aware of the importance of Health and Safety in the work place
- Manual handling may be required
- May include correct completion of paperwork
You will be required to complete Health & Hygiene online courses as part of your induction
Hours of work is approximately 40 hours per week
Start time is between 6am-8am Monday to Friday
